FreeLake Youth Softball Association Inc. is Proud to Introduce
The FreeLake Flash summer travel softball program for divisions 10u & 12u:
These travel teams will practice indoors during the off season and will play in 3-4 weekend tournaments during the 2022 summer (based upon availability). All interested players should register on our website for travel team tryouts and attend the appropriate tryout listed below. Please note there is no fee for tryout registration.
If a player is selected to join a travel team the following fees are expected: A deposit of $350 which will cover the indoor practices and practice shirts. A payment of $350 in the Spring 2022 to cover uniforms and practice space. A payment estimated at $300 will be charged based on the number of tournaments scheduled. It is estimated that the total cost should not exceed $1000.
Players must be fully committed to attending practices and games. These are competitive travel softball teams. Decisions about playing time and field positions will be based on skill level and attitude.
Players must participate in the FreeLake Spring recreational season to be eligible. Players must not turn 11 before 1/1/2022 for 10u and must not turn 13 before 1/1/2022 for 12u. Please note that registration fees for spring and fall recreational leagues are not included in the Flash travel team fees.
Tryouts for 10u division will be held on October 23, 2021 at 4:00pm at Jon Paun Park with a rain date of October 31, 2021 at 10am.
Tryouts for 12u division will be held on October 25th at 5:00pm at Jon Paun Park on Field 1 with a rain date of November 1, 2021 at 5:00pm

Please look for announcements regarding tryouts for 8u division in the Spring 2022. 8u division will play a reduced schedule consisting of participation in a 6-week local summer league as well as 1-2 weekend tournaments.
