FreeLake Flash tryout registration opens today!

FreeLake Flash is our competitive program where players are given the opportunity to take softball to the next level.  

The travel softball year starts in the fall with practices, scrimmages, and possibly fall tournaments (if the team elects to do so). Then these travel teams will practice indoors during the winter and outdoor during the spring preparing to play in 3-5 weekend tournaments during the 2025 summer (based upon availability and team interest).  All interested players should register on our website for travel team tryouts and attend the appropriate tryout listed below. Please note there is no fee for tryout registration.  

If a player is selected to join a travel team, payment will be $700.  Payments can be made in 3 installments or paid in full. This will cover the costs of winter training facilities, uniforms, equipment, and tournament entry fees for a minimum of 3 tournaments. Teams may elect to compete in additional tournaments at an additional cost split among the players.  

Players must participate in the FreeLake Spring recreational season to be eligible.  Please note that registration fees for spring and fall recreational leagues are not included in the Flash travel team fees.

8u: Monday, August 19th at 5:00 pm - Field 2

10u: Tuesday and Wednesday, August 6th & 7th at 5:00 pm - Field 3

12u: Monday, August 5th at 5:00 pm - Field 3

14u: Monday, August 12th at 5:00pm - Field 2
